Similarly, if someone says yea it's a good show but you gotta wait til episode 6 for it to get good and that begs the question is the product actually good if you have to experience more the half of the content, seeing as shows average 8 to 10 episodes these days, before you the consumer considers it a good experience.
It made me think about the game differently or more so it made me look through a different lense.
This also reminds me of a comment I saw in another thread were someone said something along the lines of the game gets good after the first 5 hours. The moment you get out of Cipal the game completely opens up and I think that's what caused a bulk of the bad reception is just the intro sequence. It may not be as big of an issue for others, but I've heard a number of cuffs voice lines and I feel as though they've repeated a lot. You are on training wheels and not really able to control Frey and the scenes feel like they would be better as cutscenes and i went into the options to reduce the frequency cuff talks and I make go back and lower it some more. I can't speak for everyone when I say this, but the intro to the game is rough.
I like the combat a lot the aesthetics of the world are great and there is some neat lore to look into. I'm like 30 or so hours into forspoken and I'm gonna be honest the game is really fun.
