Now, Dakota Johnson shared a picture of the original article on Instagram with a simple spiderweb emoji as the caption. That changed in a big way recently when reports surfaced that Dakota Johnson was in talks to lead the movie. With COVID-19 dramatically altering the studio's plans for Sony's Spider-Man Universe, it wasn't surprising that development on Madame Web became very quiet.
